Paulina Prieto Cerame

  • Paulina Prieto Cerame brings a wealth of elite playing and coaching experience to the TVI team. Originally from Puerto Rico, she was ranked the No. 7 recruit in the nation coming out of high school in Miami, Florida. She began her collegiate career at Penn State, where she helped the Nittany Lions reach the Final Four in 2012 and capture the NCAA National Championship in 2013. Paulina then transferred to the University of Texas, competing for three seasons and becoming a two-time All-American while leading the Longhorns to another Final Four semifinal and back-to-back NCAA Championship match appearances.

    After college, Paulina spent five years competing professionally overseas in Turkey and Puerto Rico before returning to the United States for her final professional season with Las Vegas team in the inaugural year of the Pro Volleyball Federation (PVF).

  • Since 2012, Paulina has dedicated herself to coaching and mentoring young athletes across Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Puerto Rico. She is passionate about helping players build confidence both on and off the court, guiding them through skill development, the recruiting process, and the mental side of competition. Her philosophy centers on teaching athletes how to believe in themselves, embrace challenges, and grow through the game of volleyball.

    Now a proud mom to her four-year-old daughter Julietta, Paulina continues to share her love of the game by investing in the next generation of athletes and helping them reach their fullest potential. She brings care, patience, and determination into every training session, guiding athletes to achieve their goals while cultivating their own passion for the sport.
